Read MoreI worked at the Savings Bank Bank of New Britain for a short while when Richard Wedmore was there. What I remember was how even-keeled he was. His desk was across from me. I remember him as a kind and consistent person. I was sorry to hear of his passing, but it was nice to learn that he lived a good and long life. Peace his loved ones and friends and to his memory.

I remember Dick from my time working at the Savings Bank of New Britain back in the late sixties. I thought he was a very kind man, easygoing, and great to work with. I send my sincere sympathies to his family.

Dick and my father Edward were best friends while growing up in the City Point, New Haven area. I am glad they were able to recently reconnect after 70 + years. I gave a copy of this to my father, as well as posted on the City Point Facebook page. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
