What a great friend and person. I remember fondly starting up the KAW radio station with him. He will be missed but always remembered.

Richard and I grew up as neighbors on Tennessee and Ohio Streets and as classmates. I had no idea he was nearby in Eugene. A Good Guy, indeed.

Rich was a good and thoughtful person. His activism and commitment to social and environmental justice were his gifts to us and they live on. He will be missed.

Rich loved the outdoors, renewable energy, music, and a good laugh. His smile was contagious! He showed me kindness over the 25+ years I was fortunate to know him. I'm thinking of all of his family and friends.
