Dick's #2 Grandson McLain a long, long time ago...

There are so many fabulous memories of Richard, but one of my favorites was playing nintendo with him. He was way ahead of the wi generation and it was a full participation sport for him! I loved the flying hands and the tongue sticking out and him on the edge of his seat. This is my second attempt to post an entry. I entered one yesterday but it never posted. If I'm repeating myself, I apologize. "Boys will be boys." This was one of Dick's favorite expressions and he proved it wholeheartedly the first time I met my father in law. He pinched my butt! Poor David - I bet he was embarrassed at that! What a wonderful family I walked into. I remember so many fond memories from the house on White Bear Court and later in the party rooms at Dick and...

I'll always treasure the memories of Easter at Grandpa's house with eggs benedict and asparagus and the egg hunts; and pancake breakfasts at the old Lodge; and playing in the back yard, peeling the bark off of the Birch tree... and hearing all the great stories! Miss you Grandpa!
