Thanks to all who have left memories or kind words for us. -- Donna Whitney and Mark Whitney

To Dick's family...This is a notice that I recently sent to the golfers in the contractors league that Dick played in...I hope this brings some smiles to you and adds to the good memories that I am sure you have of Dick! He meant a lot to the rest of us on the golf team!

Hi Fellow League Golfers.

Unfortunately, I have to share some sad news with all of you!

One of Team Seabee's finest passed away this fall.Dick Whitney! Many of you played with Dick over the years and know...

May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories as you celebrate a life of longevity and joyful times you had together. May the God of comfort strengthen and fortify you to help you endure.- Psalms 29:11.

I always knew I was with a friend and a gentle soul. Thank you for your kindness, Uncle Richard.

So sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I knew both Richard and Donald when I was growing up on Bodwell Court in Springvale.
We enjoyed many outdoor activities on Makin's field when we were so young. Those were the days. My deepest condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear about his passing. What a kind and gentle soul he had. God bless and comfort you all.

A great man

Thank you for your service.

I was sad to see Richard had passed. I new Richard from the Bramhall Pub. He was one of the kindest people I have met in my life. I always looked forward to seeing him. He told wonderful stories of the Navy and shared a lot of great wisdom with most of the patrons. He also spoke proudly of his children and there accomplishments. Richard was truly a great man and I will miss him
