When I received my first assignment as a Fire Lieutenant in 1986 To engine 12 Dicky as some called him was the senior FF on the truck I only had 5 yrs on the job and with The crew between them had 80 yrs combined . Dick pulled me aside before my frst house fire and said DON'tworry Lt we got your six. And they did. With Dick,Jack, and Dominic my tenure at E12 was easy. I know Dick was also a respected gentleman of the job. My sincere its condolences .Dick was always a pleasure to work with.
