Not sure what to say?

On the anniversary of your last journey, I am thinking of you today, Dick Wilds. I´m looking forward to seeing you again. Your council gave me what I needed in my life to move forward. I will be forever grateful for Gods leading me to you. I was 37 then, and now nearing 76 years. As I reread about your life..I am in awe that God has gifted my daughter a wonderful husband that mirrors your background, mannerisms, kindness, and a gentle caring helper to others. He reminds me of you. Until we...

When asked the question; Who showed you how to care for yourself? This was my answer:

Rev Wilds, the world is a much better place having known you and your love for life.So much wisdom and passion wrapped up in one small bundle of energy! A better sermon I have never heard than those you delivered at All Saints.Thank You! I will miss you!

Fr. Wilds: Fleeting moments on this earth but an eternity of being in the presence of God!
You have touched my life when I was in Brooklyn.

On the evening before you began your new adventure, you told those around you what you found special about us. You told me that you loved my singing and others that I had the voice of an angel. Now, most marvelous Dick, you are really surrounded by the angels, singing to welcome you to your new home. Safe Journey!

Peggy, know you will always be a cherished friend. I am grateful for your gift of healing on so many layers and levels through the years. May you walk in sunshine!

Dear Dick, from my childhood you were there. Our lives were so close at times; Germany, cartography, Sault Ste. Marie, psychology. Providence Dick? I believe so. You've been my guide for years and taught me to let it go and take in the small things in life. I have listened my friend and will carry on your advice and teach it to others.
God Bless your family, you are missed already.

I have been thinking about Dick the past few days, since hearing of his hospitalization. I realized when he was officiating at All Saints, I wasn't really at the service very much, I was in Sunday School. So to cling to a memory that is truely mine, and not of my parent's wedding, or my baptism, I thought about communion. Being blessed on the head as a small child, I remember his hands being well worn in, and having many experiences of life in them, and they were always warm when he gently...

Dear Dick,
Though I did not know you, personally,I knew of you and your great kindness through my friendship with Peggy and friends at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation.
Farewell,my prayers are with you. You will be missed!

Dear Peggy and family,
I have many wonderful memories of Dick as pastor of All Saints. I last spoke to him when my son, Greg, died in Feb. 2003. Even though he was in poor health, his kind words comforted me. In fact, I just spoke of him to a friend yesterday. He touched many lives and made the world a better place. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time.
Blessings, Martha
