Richard D. Williams departed this life May 1, 2025. Memorial Services will be held Thursday May 15, 2025, at 11am. Services will be held at St. Luke the Evangelist Episcopal Church 3530 Wheeler Ave. Houston, Texas 77004.

To Shirley and the family of Richard, l am so sorry for your loss. Richard was a good man and will be solely missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. May God continue to bless, comfort and strengthen the family.

Richard, you will truly be missed! Your smile, your sincere love of life and your dedication to the church are among the many things we cherished about you. You served St. Luke’s in as many capacities as you could and without any hesitation. You were an example of how Christian life is lived well. We are forever blessed to have shared in your life.

My sister, Ray Jean Stanley and friends Lloyd Allen, Cherry Allen and I attended summer camp with the Episcopal Diocese at Camp Posey because we were not allowed to attend Camp Allen,
