Richard Winkler

My husband, Martin Rojas worked with Mr. Winkler when he was first hired at Turlock Irrigation District. He always told us the story of how they had to throw large rocks by hand to clear out for the water to flow at a hydro plant. As the young men all put their rubber boots on they looked back to see Mr. Winkler walking towards them in boots of his own. We send our condolences to Dr. Mark and Sharon. We know how difficult loss is to a family, and ask God to ease your pain.

I have great memories of this kind and smart man from my years at Bethel Temple. I have a specific memory of him working outside the church office (when I was the church secretary) and trying to find a solution to the water getting in. I´m am sorry for your family´s loss. What an amazing life he has had here.
