Not sure what to say?

I remember my cousin Dick from I visited the family home when I was a child. I will always remember him as being very kind and nice to me. I know Stella will miss him greatly.

Uncle Dick was a great guy who showed up out of the blue without much notice. Quiet person who kept to himself, but was very caring about his relatives.

I only had the pleasure of seeing my Uncle a few times because he kept to himself and I live over 3 hours away. He would visit his sister, Estella, each Sunday. My thoughts and prayers are with you sir. As a decorated World War II veteran, I wish to thank you again for your service. When my son was in Iraq with the Air Force, you would tell Stella you knew the type of aircraft he was flying in and protecting as a member of a Search & Rescue team.
God bless you, Uncle.

I had such a crush on Uncle Dick, especially during the times when he would take me ice skating... when I was about 13. I felt like I had a date with such a handsome older man! Although he kept to himself, he remembered us all, and acted with kindness toward his family, especially in looking in on his sister, Stel. I have tears about his passing, but realize that his time on this earth is over. He was one of the mysteries in our life.

Uncle Dick was my uncle on my Mother's side of the family. He was a great man, and a WWII Veteran, and I will miss him.

Richard Winslow was my great-uncle, and a decorated WWII hero. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters as a 1st Lieutenant with the Army Air Corps. His sister Estella, and all of us will miss him.
