Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Wittlin and Nicole,

I first met Dick when I started my new job at IBM in 1994. We shared a cubicle in the Lakeside Bldg and he had the rare ability to make me laugh even on the roughest first days on the job. He was an interesting conversationalist and kept me from getting bored on slow days. One of his favorite subjects was his daughter. He often talked about how proud he was of your musical ability. When he talked about his daughter and her accomplishments and...

Dear Mary Margaret and Nicole,

I have very fond memories of all of the wonderful band and youth orchestra events. I especially remember when I first met Dick... we were sitting at TBPAC, waiting for Nicole and Craig to audition and encouraging the kids to do their best. Thankfully, they always have.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Concerts at your lovely home.
I know your Dad was really proud of you, Nicole. Mary Margaret -- you have an open invitation...

Dear Nicole and Mary Margaret,
We just wanted to remind you that your friends are always here for you when you need them, so please let us know if there is anything that we can do to help--even if it's just taking care of Blitzen.
Our thoughts are with you...
Joey and Leslie

Nicole,
I'm so very sorry to hear about your Dad. You and your Mom will be in my prayers tonight.

Dear Nicole,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Love, Cindy

Dearest Nicole, and Mom-
It all began back before I was going into the 8th grade, and I have fond memories of coming over to the Whittlin household, gathering with all of our wonderful friends, and being welcomed by a wonderful Father... I know that times of sorrow can be rough, and some might feel as if they are being taken through a valley. I know however, that sorrow will build perseverence, and hope. I pray and think of your family often, and my thoughts and prayers are with you...

Dear Mary Margaret and Nicole,

I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Wittlin and your family. The support and love he gave to the both of you is truly unique and special.
Your family continues to remain in my prayers.
I love you both for your gifts and care for others. Know that I am here for any support you may need.

Love,
Becky

To Mary Margaret and Nicole,

Those of us that play golf at Countryway Golf club were quite sadden to learn of Dick's passing. He had a unique way of making any golf outing light hearted and enjoyable.

As an employee of Continental Air Lines, I knew Mary Margaret before meeting Dick. In fact, it was by accident that he and I got to play around of golf and he learned that I had worked with his wife.

My best memory, that will always be there, is that...

Dear Mary and Nicole:
We met your husband and father at Countryway golf course every Sunday morning for several years and found him to be one of the nicest men we have met. He will be truly missed. Our deepest sympathy to you and his entire family.
