Not sure what to say?

To all of Dicks family I am really sorry to hear of his passing. I moved to Florida back in 2009 and lost touch with him and today when I read about Dons passing is when I found out about his passing. I have had the pleasure of knowing them both for over 65 years. RIP Woody until we meet again on the other side.

My sincere sympathy to the family. He was a special person I have known him and his wife remember the birth of Richard Jr and almost all that followed. Bless him and his family it’s a hard time when you lose some one. Prayers and thoughts

I have known Dick as long as I have memory. When the kids were little, Dick & family lived in our apartment house on Waterbury Street. I used to babysit you kids when Lisa was a baby. I think Rickey must have been about 5 and Cathy maybe 3. Dick always took good care of my Mom, Helen Bryant, and me, whenever we had car troubles. Towed our cars and rescued us many a time. Most of this was when East Side Garage was down on East Avenue, next to hardware store. (Clair's Hardware?) Used to see...

Rickey and family, so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. Many fond memories of life down in "the gut" where our families had their business'. I remember your father pulling our oil trucks out of many a snow bank and hanging around the garage or hardware store trading laughs and stories. I hope your memories of those happy days will sustain you.

To all the Woodcock Children:

I am Frank Staigar's daughter and he and Woody were great friends. I knew each of you as our families spent a lot of time together. I am so sorry for your loss. I was too young when they first started racing stock cars but I certainly remember the go-cart days. I will be praying for all of you during this difficult time. May it help to know that others care and remember the good times. Memories and love are forever. They never die.

Rich was a close friend when we worked at Manhiem together. We shared some good times and a lot of laughs. Going to miss him.

My condolences to the Woodcock family. Dick and family have been good friends of my family my whole life .R.I.P. Dick,

Rest in piece Dick your race is won.

Dick was always a great guy. My first car was a ‘64 Ford and it was broke down on a side street. Of course the police had it towed to Woodcock’s garage. I gave it to Dick for the tow bill. At one time Woodcock’s, Simpson’s and Matt’s were all on call for towing in Saratoga.
Rest in peace to a famous Saratoga Springs businessman Dick Woodcock.
