Not sure what to say?

Hi Peg - just read this now Jan 2026 You must miss him - he truly was larger than life So many lasting memories

Uncle Dick was my Dad, George's best friend from the Yale and following years. He was Uncle Dick to me and my brothers, Jeff and Trevor. I still hold wonderful memories of Christmases celebrated in their big white farmhouse and all the kids. Dick and Dad shoveling off the snow for us kids to skate on the frozen pond and one time them rubbing Susie's and my frozen feet when we got back from a late afternoon horseback trail ride!!! We loved Dick and Aunt Pam and then thru the course of life,...

I remember Dick Wright as a kind and gentle soul in the body of what seemed to be a bull. You didn´t talk back to him, but when you did he was a wonderful listener. He almost always had one or more stories to share about his travels and the school. My best goes to his family and close friends. He will forever be missed, and I´ll hear his bellicose laugh every time I step into a cafeteria wherever I may be. Mitchell J. Rappport Class of 1970

I was a camper at Judgment Ridge for 2 summers in 1972 and 1973. I can picture the Wrights fondly, strolling the campus like adoptive parents to all the young teenage horse-crazy dreamers; campers and students alike. God bless you and rest your sole.

Dick definitely changed the course of my life. I still think of him often.

Peg, I just saw this and I´m so very sorry for your loss. Lucille

Very sorry to hear of Dicks passing. He was a genuinely good person. My acceptance interview at the Vershire school demonstrated his focus. Dick told me I had a good sense of humor and that I was accepted. He had talked to me for 5-minutes. Classy guy!!

Sorry for your loss.
