Richard August Wunderlich

1929 - 2019

Richard A Wunderlich, PHD, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 89. Husband of Jewell Lozes Wunderlich for 31 years. Son of the late Anna & August Wunderlich. Richard received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. He was a psychology professor at Catholic University of America, with many publications in professional journals. Since childhood, he had a love of magic and performed under the stage name of "Dr. Wonder". He was a member of Society of American Magicians (SAM) and International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM). He enjoyed painting and was a member of various watercolor clubs. He was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years. In lieu of flowers, if you desire, make a contribution to an educational institution of your choice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, January 26, 2019, beginning at 9:00am until the Funeral Mass at 11:00am, officiated by Fr.
