Dick was an outstanding person and a great friend. I went to BDAC school in California with him , then worked with him in Atlanta and Miami. He will surely be missed and remembered by all who knew and worked with him.

Dick was a good friend and supervisor. I'll never forget the jolly good times we had in Miami in the late 60's.

Dick was my roommate at Bureau of Drug Abuse Control (BDAC) Special Agent Training class #3 at Cal/Berkeley in the summer of 1966 (wild times out there back then). He was a good guy and I seem to recall a good but somewhat wry/dry sense of humor. He certainly was modest about his football career, I knew he was a former player but had no idea he was a "starter", let alone that he had played on a championship team. Thanks for the mentoring in Miami, it meant the world to me. I have missed talking with you over the years and reminiscing over old cases and football. You are missed and I am sure you are in the arms of our Father now.
