We just found out this morning of Rick's passing. Our friendship with Rick started 43 years ago on his first day at WIU in Macomb. His witty humor was such a source of entertainment. Our hearts are broken over the loss of such a fine, good and caring friend. This world has lost one of it's best people.
We know the Lord accepted him into his loving arms. Our thoughts are with Jill, Carol, and the rest of the family. The pictorial power point is beautiful.

Jill,
I was so sad to hear the news. You've been in my prayers constantly. I pray you are at peace with the truth that Rick is in the loving arms of Jesus- how amazing is His grace! I pray Jesus' presence is close to you right now and you feel His love for you in a very real way. It was an honor to know both of you, and I will never forget the way you looked at Rick and cared for him.

My memories of Rick are frozen in time. Will always remember and love his siblings and parents running up and down stairs laughing and celebrating holidays in their home on Callan. Times to cherish. My sympathy to all.

I feel blessed to have known Rick, even though so briefly. His loving soul, strength, courage, kind heart, gratitude, sweet & positive disposition all profoundly struck me. He was such a great man. My heart goes out to Jill & Rick's family & friends. May u keep his light shining & find comfort through your loving memories.

Jill, I am so sorry for your incredible loss. You may not remember me but I'm the youngest daughter of Pauline Polino DeHamer. I remember when you would come to our home for dinner in Wheaton. From what I have read, your dear husband sounds like an amazing man of God. Praying for you in this time of great sorrow.
