Not sure what to say?

My daughter Kathy and I are so saddened to hear of Ric's passing. I transcribed for him for 27 years starting when he was on Mendocino Avenue. Kathy, was three when I started and when she was 20, he hired her as his file clerk. I so enjoyed his sense of humor; he was as much a friend as he was a boss. He was such a genuine man and the only attorney I have ever really admired. I know he will be sorely missed. The law community in Sonoma County has lost a wonderful asset. My condolences to his...

I was best friends with Kim when we were in junior high and high school and I fondly remember him teasing us mercilessly about anything and everything, especially about boys! He had a wonderful sense of humor and it was obvious how much he loved all his "girls". Rest in peace! Lisa (Foster) Diamont, Houston, TX

It was an honor to just be in the presence of Uncle Rick. This world has just lost an amazing person with an commendable outlook on life. He will be incredibly missed. Love you Uncle Rick.

Rick always made us feel welcome when we visited Santa Rosa. We are saddened by his passing and will remember him in our prayers.

Some of my fondest memories are of our visits to Santa Rosa. Rick was always a most gracious host and he and Lu made those trips so enjoyable for us. He will remain in my thoughts and prayers. My sincere condolences to his family.

I read these entries and can't help but love and miss my grandpa even more for seeing all the lives he touched. Thank you for every one's posts...
Papa, I miss you so much. You were so strong, and I thank you for that. Rest in peace, I'll see you sometime down the line. I love you forever.

I became a client of Mr. Wootton’s in 1995. I worked North of Santa Rosa in Ukiah California. I found Mr. Wootton in the phone book and scheduled an appointment. The initial meeting with Mr. Wootton was in an extremely humble tiny office in a non-professional area of Ukiah. I thought, oh my God – this guy cannot afford a real office – exactly how good could he be?

I soon realized I had hired the “Bull-dog” of Attorneys and my worries ended. I will sincerely miss Mr. Wootton’s knowledge...

May the Lord welcome you. May He continue to bless your family until they are united once again with you in eternal life.

I can't believe Rick is gone it seemed to me he would go on forever. I worked for him from 1990 to 1998. It was the best 8 years of my professional career. Rick embodied the true spirit of the law. He was kind, compassionate and never tired of defending the injured workers rights. His professionalism was beyound reprouch and a legacy to the law community. I learned so much from him, lessons I use to this day.
My heart goes out to his family, there are no words of comfort for the pain...
