Not sure what to say?

Dear Aslin family: It was sadness today as I visited the Ball Hockey Edmonton website and read the news. Although I didn't know Rick that well I do remember his passion for the game and seen him often around the rinks. A few years after Rick was away from the arena I bumped into him and he had a welcoming hello for me and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation. I can't imagine what the family is going through at this time.
Take care.

Laine and all of Rick's beloved family, my heart goes out to you in this time of tremendous loss. May the many happy memories of Rick's generosity, humor, sincerity and honesty keep him close to your heart as it will mine. The depth and meaning of his friendship and listening ear were never really understood by him as that was just his way but he truly touched my life forever and I am truly grateful for having known him.

His family was truly his pride and joy and I know that with the...

Dear Laine:

Again my sympathies to you and your family. I was glad you were at the door when I dropped the card off, and we were able to speak, in case I cannot make it to the service.
You are one strong lady and I am so glad I have met a lot of Rita's family. You are all truly wonderful and genuine people.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jackie and I would like to send our condolences to the Aslin family. We are saddened to hear of Rick’s passing. Although we had lost contact with Rick over the years we still have fond memories of him. When we think of Rick, his zeal and commitment towards the sport of ball hockey comes to mind. In all of his dealings with respect to the game he was a dedicated, firm, and fair man.

To Trevor and Tom, take care.
