Not sure what to say?

Words seem so inadequate but we would like to send our sincere condolences to Bonnie and all family members. Nothing can erase the pain of losing loved ones but may the loving promise of Almighty God (John 11:25) help bring peace and comfort today and in the days to come. Rick touched the lives of many and he will be missed.

To Susan:

Life is like a rocky river bed with its ups and downs. Sometimes you are blessed with finding a
precious gold gem. Unfortunately those gems can be taken away as quickly as they are spotted. That
is what happened with Rick.

Rick was one of those precious gems found by our family. Jerry first met Rick when he began
working as an airplane mechanic in the little shop at Butler Aircraft in Redmond, Oregon. He was
fresh out of mechanics school, was head over heels in...

To All Rick's Family..
Rick was special to everyone who knew him; whether if we were just classmates, or friends later in life. That much shows clearly in everyone's entries here. After only knowing Rick in school, it is wonderful to hear about the sort of man he became. The memories are overwhelming and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Rick's family and freinds.

I was first introduced to Rick threw my brther-in-law Jerry McCabe.
I got to know Rick fairly well and had shared many meals and even some Holiday's with him.

Rick joined us on one Elk hunting trip that I will never forget. We got lucky and had downed four Elk about two miles from our camp. We had know other way to get them out but to quarter and carry them out. Rick was not actually hunting but he did not...

Hibbing Airtanker Base sends heartfelt condolences to the many friends and family of Rick. I remember the first time he flew in with Del. I asked him where he was from and he smiled and said everywhere. Then he said, "Oh, you mean where do I keep my stuff." What a great sense of humor he had. He will be missed by all of us at the base in Hibbing. Clear skies Rick.

My deepest simpathy goes out to Rick's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you from all of us at the Jeffco Airtanker Base.

We met Rick though my sister Elaine & brother-in-law Ed Bauer. He was real gentleman and a man who was capable of doing anything. He will be missed and we share his
loss with his family & friends.

Our deepest sympathy goes to your family during this difficult time.
