Joann's 30th B-Day with Dad

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness, here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you".

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night

Love April

Hello, hello? Helloooo? Hey, Rick, we miss you! Word has it downtown that God was working on his Paul Stroud nose-riding move, so he needed to consult the expert. Also, I hear that if you do some horseback riding there, the saddles are softer. Guaranteed, one day we will continue our discussions on life, love, relationships, and the waves of music that encircle it all. Save us a spot at the Tiki bar where we know that you and your dad are blending up some mean grapefruit daiquiris. Love ya!

Rock on, Rick. You were a good man. Honest, principled and funny. I'm sorry we never got to jam together. We came close, and I regret it never came to pass. Enjoy the waves.
