Not sure what to say?

Mr. Rick, oh how you are missed everyday. Everytime we come to the door and wait for a moment for you to open it and extend your hand for the "little people to give you five". When we hear the wheels of the trash can coming down the hall or the jingle of keys, you are thought of missed and loved.

I only got to know you for a short time, but even in that time you were the epitome of a gentleman. You and I got to visit during lunch, and I always knew where you stood on the topics we discussed. Thank you for sharing your sunshine with me, even if only for a little while. You were the caretaker of our little family, and you will be remembered always!

Your "Little People"

I still can't believe you are not with us. I shouldn't say that because I know you are with us everyday as we tend to the "Little People". Every time I see a tumble weed you will come to mind, remembering the wall of tumble weeds you battled not so many years ago so that we could get out the north door and get lunches for the little people. You always showed so much kindness to each and everyone of us. The true Gentlemen that you were. We love you and miss you so very much. One day when I...

Mr. Rick----I just am hoping you realize how much you meant to all of us at Los Ninos. Your smile, your back rubs, your silly jokes, and serious political views will all be definitely missed. I don't think you realized how much I appreciated it every time you would ask how my Bernie is...not many do....it really showed how you put others before yourself.
Mr. Rick----you will be trully missed!

I worked with Mr. Rick at Los Ninos, and he was one of the sweetest men I had ever met. He always wore a smile, and went beyond what was asked of him. I know that he dreaded cupcake days or parties because of the mess we would make, but he always came in with a smile, broom, dust pan, spray, and a rag in case our kids managed to get icing on the carpet. :) We often talked about his motorcycle, I teased him for being on his cell phone at lunch, and he told me about how much he enjoyed dancing....

Sharon and Debbie, I have fond memories of Rick. I am so sorry for your loss. Ya'll will be in my memories. Sandy Tipton Cox

Go rest high on that mountain, Rick. Precious friends Debbie and Brooke, may you feel the very arms of Father God as He holds you now. You are loved and in our prayers

We have lost a valuable member of our "Los Niños" family. Mr. Rick will be missed terribly by everyone who knew him. He was a man of few words but always had a kind word to say. We always talked about riding our motor cycles and the best sites to see. Mr. Rick, you now have the best site of all. Watching all of us from above. Ride with the angels and I will always think of you each time I start my bike.

Rick "Stripe Shirt Cowboy!" who will I dance with? You will truly be missed, your sweet smile, kind eyes and gentle spirit. Thanks for the opportunity to know you.
To the family ... my thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless
