Not sure what to say?

For some reason his name jumped into my mind today. Thought I would Google his name and was shocked to learn he passed away nearly twenty-one years ago. I remember him on CJCB Radio here in Sydney, N.S. back in the late sixties or early seventies. I always enjoyed listening to him as he had a way of connecting with his listening audience. R.I.P. Rick, you are not forgotten. A fan from long ago. Patrick McNeil.

I am shocked on hearing so many years after the fact of Rick's passing .
I was living out of the country.at the time . I knew Rick from different community involvements that I was involved in . For a number of years in the late 80s he and his family would drop by and have photos taken with me and we would always chat over to the side before or after .
My late condolences to the family of such a great man who shared to me his love for his family each year at Christmas .

What a beautiful poem and lovely remembrance. I remember Rick fondly on the radio - and always felt he was taken far too young. I cannot believe it has been ten years, but his memory lives on!

What a touching poem, Gale! It has been ten years since you lost your beloved, Rick to cancer. It is obvious how much you loved him then and how much you love him and long for him, still. Don't worry, Gale. True love is eternal! Throughout this past decade, Rick has been watching you and loving you - from heaven. Some day, you will be reunited. God Bless you.

beautiful poem. I knew Rick way back in Thunder Bay. Thank you for the memories. Rick was one of the good guys of radio.
