Not sure what to say?

Dear Jane. I first met Rick 30 years ago when he came to Stratton. He worked for my father Casey Rowley. We become friends instantly. I was on ski patrol with him his one and only year. Our first event was to take the ambulance and pick up a man who was sick. Oh my god it was like the blind leading the blind. We did not have a clue. We finally got the man loaded and Rick had to have the lights on siren on and drive fast. Iwas in the back getting sick from all the motion. Rick was my buddy he...

To the family of Rick Hube - After attending the memorial service for Rick yesterday - we truly realized just how special a person he really was. His Wit, Charm and his love of Pranks (he would of fit right in with our family) was a side of Rick that I wish we had been able to experiance. Even thought we were neighbors, we never really got to see much of him with both of our busy schedules. But by working for him, we truly knew he was a great person. We want to thank you for allowing us...

To Jane and family - Ron's and my thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time. We have had the fortunate opportunity to have been able to work for Rick for a number of years - have numerous chats with him and everytime I have called him regarding some issue, he has always been there to respond to us. He was the best!!!! We will all miss him a lot and every time we drive by his house, lots of memories flow by in our minds. We recently met with Rick at his house after all of...

Please know that your family and Rick have been much in my thoughts over the last few weeks. For each of the last six years, Rick has visited my fourth grade classroom to talk about his work in the legislature. His ability to connect with my students at their interest level was impressive and heightened the children's anticipation of their field trip to the State House even more. Knowing they'd be greeted personally by Rick, ushered into Governor Douglas' office by Rick, and introduced on...

Dear Jane, family and our other family at Hube Inc.

Please know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers. Rick was a very vivacious individual that we truly enjoyed having as customer. We appreciated his dedication and passion for Vermont businesses such as ours. We will miss Rick and his adventures.

Rick helped my parents quickly and with respect. He also was very informative and respected by the Flood Brook School when ever we visited Montpelier. He will be missed.

Dear Jane...

I've known Rick for a long time. I was the Post Master in Bondville for 12 years...and we shared many conversations and many laughs...and maybe even a Political disagreement here and there. I wrote the following letter to the editor a few years ago...it really describes Rick to a "Tee" so I want to share it with you and your family.
