Not sure what to say?

Here it is, November 2024, and I'm just now finding out of Rick's passing. He and I worked together in Palmer at Bomhoff & Assoc. when he just finished engineering college, maybe early 80's. I remember him showing up for his interview with Jack Felton in a maroon crushed-valuer three-piece suit. Yup, much like the suit in My Cousin Vinny. He hired me as a project manager at Alaska State Housing Authority (name changed to Alaska Housing Finance Corp) in '91, Valentine's Day, lots of food....

I wish to offer my condolences to the family for their loss. Matthew 11:28,29,30,

Our prayers and condolences go out to Ricks family, and his son Alex. Rick and I worked together at AHFC. Rick was a good man I am glad to have met and work with him.
Blessings Raymond and Barbara Rouzan

Rick served as one of my Scout leaders while Alex was a Scout. We formed a solid relationship since he paralleled my dedication to raising/influencing young boys to become strong men. I always noted the twinkle in his eye when we were embarked on a surprise or developing a super event for the boys. Additionally, we worked together later in professional capacities. In honor of Rick's demeanor, I always trusted him. May the LORD bless the repose of his soul!

Dad I will always love you

Our deepest sympathies to Alex, Jackie Kotter and all of Rick's family. We've known and admired Rick ever since we met him over thirty years ago. My husband worked with Rick when he was in Palmer Public Works. A highly intelligent and ambious man who always worked hard for his community in Palmer, Kenai and the State of Alaska. His devotion to his son, Alex is demonstrated by the fine young man he has become. Rick's passing will be a big loss to all who knew him, including our family.

I am sorry for your loss. May prayer comfort you.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray constantly."May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time.

I am Rick's Mom's (Patty Jean) first cousin along with Patty's siblings - Mike, Betty, Jim, Donna and Dave. Make sense? I'm so sorry that I never knew Rick. He sounds terrific. He had a great Mom and Dad and, Alex, I'm sure Patty and Glen were super grandparents. You have my condolences and it sounds like you were blessed with a wonderful Father. Mary Leslie

I am very sorry for your loss. May God give you the strength you need to get through this very difficult time (Phillipians 4:13)
