LUTZ, Rick N. - Of Flint, age 66, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 2-8pm Tuesday and 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Rick was born in Flint, Michigan on June 20, 1953, the son of Bert and Lois Lutz. On September 5, 2015, he married Allyn Kline at Higher Ground Ministries in Swartz Creek. Rick graduated from the School of Hard Knocks and was a machine repairman at Buick Motor and retired after 32 years of service. Rick loved gardening.
Surviving are wife, Allyn;
daughter, Christine Lutz;
son, Jason Lutz;
stepson, Andrew Kline;
grandchildren, Kyle, Brayden, Ryllie, Jamesyn, Lyllian, Olivia and Seth;
brother, Dale (Robin) Lutz;
sister, Yvonne (Dale) Tinnin;
several nieces and nephews.

Rick. the last time I seen you it was in 1985. We were all best friends in school. We rode on the same bus . I am so sorry you passed. I just found out you and Dennis had passed. I had wanted to see you both but I guess it was not in the cards. I'm sorry for your kids and grandkids.

Rick and I worked together for about 7 or 8 years. We may have lost touch after we retired, but he was a great friend and a wonderful person and will be missed.
