Not sure what to say?

We are fine, . Move the gold colored chair in the family room, there is something under the right rear corner.

I just had lunch with Rick in Alberta Canada! He looked great and we had a hearty tuna fish sandwich at the Tea House in Lake Louise after the 1-1/2 long hike up the slope. We both were just visiting the hotel for a couple of days and my wife didn't want to walk up the mountain with me. So I asked the man wearing the fedora, "hey, you wanna go and maybe see an elk or moose?" What a jolly good fellow he is and accompanied me to the Tea House. We didn't see any wildlife but he told me how...

I went to GW law school with Rick beginning in 1968. We were friends. He only lasted 1 year and then he quit. Law school wasn´t a good fit for him. Rick was laid back and more interested in his family business. He was very preppy and the first guy I knew who wore topsiders as street shoes. I visited him one summer´s day in front of his family´s business in Rehoboth Beach. There, he pulled out a jewelry case with 6 large matching rubies right on the boardwalk. I don´t think I´d ever seen...

Last week I saw Rick for the first time in over a year. I was cruising the Amazon and I as I came around the bend in the river, there was Rick standing on the shore with his fist pumped high towards the sky. He had just won the Amazon's Annual Alligator Wrestling Tournament for the 30th consecutive year! When our boat stopped I congratulated Rick. In the background I could overhear the organizers talk about next year's Tournament. One of the gentlemen said he had doubts about the future of...

To all of those who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Mr. R. Stein: I only came across Mr. Stein's obits after reading something that mentioned a "Rick Stein." So...I "Googled" the name. Got a British TV presenter, and decided that perhaps that was not the correct "Rick." So...I tried the search again and added the term "America." THAT is where I happened upon the handsome picture displayed here in this obit. I would have NEVER left not ONE comment, save I have NEVER...in my...

it was a dark and stormy tuesday afternoon when I got the message that dear, dear Father Rick had gone to glory. he was a great priest and friend, and he will be sorely missed by all the ladies of the st. ignatius of overlook ladies auxiliary and monday night football club. his inspired and inspiring sermons will be missed by all, and his delight in blowing out the altar candles (to the dismay of the altar guild) are memories shared by the whole congregation. farewell, father rick, and may...

It is official, he shall be presumed dead no longer! I know this because he came ripping through the carport 9/21/19 squealing the tires on my Dad's '95 Corvette, the top was down Rick was yelling at my Dad to get in. Dad did a swan dive into the car, none of us could act fast enough to stop them. They went peeling out of the driveway headed south on Route 11...

We had supper with Rick last night. Liver and onions, of course. Always his favorite.

As usual, the cat sat on his lap and begged for leftovers.

While in the diminutive German village of Rommelsdoff (east of Cologne) I heard a booming voice singing the Rivers Of Babylon. It was the siren sound of a life well lived. Several people had already walked over to the sausage vendor and were listening intently to his wonderful voice. Having known Rick Stein while working backstage at the Grand Ole Opre, I immediately recognized him when he emphasized Zion. Our eyes met and Rick realized who I was immediately. He winked at me and put his...
