I can't believe you have been gone three years! I forget you are gone then I go to check and see what you and family are up to, then remember you have left this life! Your memory will live on in those that love you and the business's that you built will remind all what a great entrepreneur you were! R. 8. P. !

Two years have passed since you left this life, I hope and pray your family is doing well. You really made your mark on this world! You were an inspiration to those you met! Rest easy!

My heart is so sad! I just saw this as I was updating my Facebook contacts! Lani, Tom, Christi and Carol... I'm so sorry to hear of this unexpected loss of your family member. Rick was so generous and an inspiration to me. You all have my heartfelt sympathy. I'm am in shock!!

Rest in peace Rick. We only raced together a couple times but we are Fellow American Indycar Series Champions. Here's to a life we'll lived.

Rick Sutherland really was one of those special people. He was friendly, smart, successful, and remained humble even with so much success in life. So humble that one would have to know him well to know everything his son so beautifully described. I can see in my mind´s eye his 1,000-watts smile on top of the Kennedy trail last Thanksgiving morning. The yearly tradition in Los Gatos that has cultivated friendship for decades.
