Hi, I wanted to let you know how sorry I am that Rick has passed on. I worked with Rick at Bob Leigh and he was such a nice guy! He will certainly be missed. I'm so sad.

TO RICKS FAMILY, AS A SCHOOL MATE FROM GRADE 1 , TILL I LEFT TO GO IN THE AIR FORCE MYSELF . RICK KEPT HIS ATTITUDE AND HIS CHEERFUL SELF THROUGHOUT THE REST OF HIS LIFE AS EVERYONE DESCRIBED THEY'RE CONNECTION WITH HIM AT THE FUNERAL . Thank you so much for the joy you brought to the Midsouth racing scene. A true legend if there ever was one. You were always so nice to me and my family I am forever grateful to cross paths with you. I will miss you dearly.

My sympathy to Rick's family and friends. Aside from WHS school days I remember Rick as a great determined "leftie" at first base in Little League. Always a grin as he would put someone out (usually me).
