Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Ricks passing, I am in shock.
I will be saying many prayers for your family, he loved you so much and used to talk about you all the time.
I hope that you all find peace and happiness in fond memories and remember that beautiful smile of his.

A happy evening in Nassau, Bahamas.

With deep sorrow, we both extend our condolences to all of you on this devastating loss. Rick was such a good person - so generous, and so kind, and so loyal, the kind of friend anyone is lucky to have. We were lucky. We had his friendship for over twenty years, and spent many, many happy times together in the Bahamas. He was a part of our vacation family, always adding to the fun and silliness that we all enjoyed. Even when not in Nassau, Rick kept in touch and checked in with us, especially...

My prayers and sympathies go out to Rick's entire family. May you find peace that he is in heaven and will make a great Guardian Angel.

My condolences to your family on your loss. I hired into AHPD about the same time as Rick. We worked many shifts together over the years. Rick will be remembered for his smile and cooperative spirit. God Bless.

So very sorry to hear of Ricks passing. Our thought and prayers are with you and your family. Rick was a great neighbor for over 20 yrs. I will miss our over the fence chats.

Please accept our sympathy for your loss. I worked with Rick at the Auburn Hills Police Department. I served on the board during his hiring process and we all found Rick to be a very impressive, caring man. As it turned out he developed into a very impressive Police Officer as well. He will be missed.

Hearing of Rick's passing is very saddening. Although I do not know the circumstances of his passing, I do know that he was in a great deal of pain the last time I spoke with him. If this situation continued, or worsened, I am grateful that he is no longer suffering. As one of his first command officers, I knew him to be a command officer's dream. He always strived to do his best, took instruction with little or no question and always put the citizen's needs before his own. Any concerns...

Please accept our sincerest sympathy from my wife and I in your time of loss. Rick was a good friend and colleague, whom I had the honor and priveledge to work with for 20 years at AHPD. He was a caring and compassionate police officer, and a credit to the profession. God bless your family, we will be praying for you.
