I guess I will get no more phone calls from Rickey! Every few years he would call me to talk and let me know about his life. His voice was instantly recognizable - no introduction was needed! When I was his English teacher way back in 8th grade he was a "lively" student ... with a good heart. I have enjoyed knowing all of the family I had contact with, the sweet sisters, over the years. My wife will be very sad when I tell her the news.
