Not sure what to say?

BOB AND FRAN...

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN NEARLY 5 YEARS THAT RICK AND I LAUGHED, TALKED AND SPENT TIME TOGETHER...THERE IS NOT A DAY THAT I DON'T THINK ABOUT RICK...I LOVED HIM VERY MUCH AND ALWAYS WILL...

I first met Ricky Bolen when I was five at St. Andrew's kindegarten. He came back into my life when I was having some health issues and we would commiserate about how bad MRI's could be that lasted over two hours! He told me about one that was close to nine hours on his neck and spine. Yesterday, I was really struggling to make it and was ready to just walk out, when I prayed to God and Mary to "just get me through". Rick's face came into my head and he said "come on, if I could make it...

I only recently learned of Ricky's untimely passing. I was deeply saddened but then happy in the reflections of the past as a teenager and young adult. Even though he was only a few years older, Ricky was an early advisor to me and a source of inspiration and encouragement as I entered police work as young man. Ricky will be missed, but his wit, intelligence and that BOOMING VOICE will remain in many memories, throughout many lifetimes. My prayers and deepest heart-felt sympathy go out to...

I just wanted to share what great memories I had with the whole Bolen family, but especially with Rick. My 1st real job was at The Toy Palace for 10 yrs. I learned my customer service skilss there. My thoughs and prayers are with the whole family.

I miss him.

I can still hear Ricky's laugh! I enjoyed visiting with him at Bolen's Place, then later at the Toy Shoppe. He always made us feel welcome & loved. Before he left the store, we would talk frequently about our cancers. Ricky is missed I'm sure.

BOB AND FRAN...

I STILL THINK OF RICK EVERY DAY, AS I'M SURE YOU DO....I STILL MISS HIS PHONE CALLS AND GOING BY THE TOY STORE FOR A VISIT...I MISS HIM SO VERY MUCH...I AM THANKFUL FOR THE 30+ YRS RICK AND I HAD TOGETHER....

To Fran, Bob and the family:

Sharon and I were deeply saddened to learn of Ricky's illness and his most untimely passing. We pray that God will grant each of you peace during your time of grief and joy as you remember his life with you.

To the Bolen Family,

Thank you for sharing Ricky with all of us. He had such a wonderful spirit. He was always up to the task of helping you find some obscure item and he never gave up easily. He will be missed greatly!
