Defa Family, Oliver told me about Rick's passing and I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry for your loss. I had a great opportunity to coach All-Stars with Rick one year and I had a great time, he was a great guy that I am sure will be missed for a lifetime.

DEAR ELAINA AND BOYS
JUST A FEW WORDS TO SAY HOW SORRY WE ARE FOR YOUR LOSS. RICK WAS SO GOOD LOOKING HE WAS ALMOST PRETTY. MY EX-HUSBAND KENNY SWENSON AND I USED TO BOWL WITH YOU BOTH ON THE SAME LEAGUE IN KEARNS AND WHERE DID THE YEARS GO? RICK PUT UP A HUGE ROUND MIRROR IN THE LAST HOME THAT ROBERT AND I SHARED. WE REGRET NOT HAVING HIM PLACE A NEW ONE IN WHEN WE RELOCATED TO W.V.C., ROBERT AND I LAST SAW HIM A FEW YRS BACK AT A JAZZ GAME. OUR CHILDREN SEND YOU BOYS A SINCERE WISH...

Aunt Marjorie, Uncle Basil, Elaina, Nick & Austin, Kenny, Deann, Sherry and Art,

I am so very sorry for your deep loss. It's so difficult to lose the ones that are very dear to us, who have endeared themselves to us in so many special ways, and have touched countless lives along life's path. Ricky was that kind of soul. I will always remember Ricky smiling from ear to ear, cracking the cutest jokes, making you feel like it was just for you - this great laugh. You always knew...

Elaina,
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Rick. Your sister-in-law Kim told me about Rick having ALS. My mom came down with the horrible debilitating disease years ago. I'm sorry that you had to go through that. You have to be a strong person and I admire you for taking such good care of him. Always remember the good memories. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Remember Elaina, he is free from pain.
