I would not be where I am today if it wasnt for the help and mentorship of Coach Haskins. He was always there for me and other students and I cant help but to grieve with his family at this time. Known throughout the city Haskins was a pioneer for many and an outspoken character not afraid to speak his mind; thats what made him special. This loss is tough for myself and so many others but it was a pleasure learning from Haskins and knowing him as a man, I wouldnt have wanted it any other way....

Our hearts are with the Haskins family, as his life here on this side of Heaven is celebrated. Mr. H (as we called him) was one of the sweetest and most soft-spoken men we've had the pleasure of meeting. We weren't family by blood, but he was part of our family and neighbor for 15 years.
