Ricky Dean Higdon

Ricky Dean Higdon, age 55 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Monday August 10, 2015. A native of
Smyrna, TN, he was the son of the late Dean Haskell and Mariko Mochizuki Higdon. Ricky was also preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Jean Jamison.

Ricky is survived by his companion, Gaile Wilson of LaVergne, TN; daughter, Jessica Higdon of Hartsville, TN; granddaughter, Jazmin Lowery of Columbia, TN; grandson, Jarick Burnett of Antioch, TN; sisters, Carrolyn Gilley of Murfreesboro, TN, Dinah Towry, and Belinda Holland both of LaVergne, TN.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until funeral time beginning at 2:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Reverend Milton Hicks will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Ricky attended LaVergne Church of Christ, and was a self-employed mechanic.
