To all of Rick's family,

My dad called me last night with the news. I'm sorry I didn't know sooner, because I would have been there today. Rick and I were close buds from when he first moved into the neighborhood in 5th grade through high school. We spent many an evening watching TV and shooting pool in his mom's basement. We enjoyed sports together and bombing around in his mom's little green Chevy. Many GCAs were consumed and laughs shared.

It's been many years since I've seen Rick. He was my children's(Mandy and Greg) beloved Uncle Rick. I can always remember his dry sense of humor, his willingness to help and he was always a hard worker. But as so often happens, families split apart ane we all move on, leaving behind the ones we thought so much of. I've thought of Rick many times over the years, remembering back to a different life.
