Not sure what to say?

Rick, my family and I still think of you all the time! My office makes a donation every Christmas to Marion-Polk Food Share in your name as you were our favorite farmer and friend!! You'll always be the Mutsu man!

Thank you, Rick, for your friendship, handwork, and best fruit anywhere. I will truly miss you. You are now at peace and your mind, body, and spirit are well. God speed, My Friend.

My mother (Dorathy Lorenz-Townsend) was a farmer and held Rick in high esteem, as she did most farmers. She always took us to pick peaches at Rick's place on Clear Lake Rd. Most recently my sister and I would go and pick blue berries. Heaven has a new angel and we are lucky to have known him here on this earth.

This was Ricks greatest harvest. Over the years he had some good, some not so good and some just mediocre. But this one was perfect! For this time Rick was the one harvested and best of all, he went home with his number one customer........His Lord and Savior.

Rick was my family's friend and our "Mutsu" man. I think I met him in 1987, at the original farm. Later he would have Ashley running around him, "helping". All those years, always a kind and caring man. You will be forever missed and remembered.

Rick was a fantastic person and a great friend. We will miss him every day. We were blessed to have been part of his friendship. We will meet again in the good Lords house. Ed & Leila Fischer

Mr. Johnson will be truly missed! I met Rick many years ago, purchasing apples from the "original" Johnson Farm up through last fall at their new farm. A great person who shared his passion for farming! The best apples anywhere!!!
