This past week-end we held our "Texas Hoe-Down" in Ft. Worth, Texas. There were many friends of Ricky's and of our's there from Arkansas. We had all hoped that Ricky would be able to travel to Ft. Worth to be with us, but we knew that (realistically) this would not happen. We dedicated our program to him this past week-end and sent the original in a document holder to his Mom. While I have not known Ricky for
very long, I quickly learned to appreciate his kind, warm, and
humble manner. There was always something special about him that instinctively drew people to him.
An extraordinary Dancer and extra, extraordinary human being. The world is a lonelier place without him
and that smile.

Ricky was one of the kindest sweetest people I have ever met. He loved to dance and it showed in every step he made on the dance floor. Ricky you will truly be missed. What a wonderful sweet friend you were to our family. You are dancing with the angels! Our hearts go out to your family and they are in our hearts and in our prayers.

Mary Jo and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. It was obvious through your actions that Ricky was loved very much by his family and I know that he will be deeply missed. As always, my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

I was so saddened to hear about Ricky's death. He was such a fighter and I expected him to win this battle. I'm sure you feel like he has. It was a great pleasure for me to know Ricky for such a short time. He was a wonderful gentleman that we will all miss on the dance floor! I pray God's comfort be with you.
