Not sure what to say?

I'm greatly saddened as I type this since its profoundly major news to me. The film Creature from the Black Lagoon changed my life as it inspired me to get into special FX artistry. Ricou helped bring to life what is , in my opinion, probably the most amazingly designed, terrifying & sympathetic movie monster to ever grace the screen. Like Ben Chapman on the surface, Ricou contributed to the character in the way he swam. His skill in swimming made the Creature move gracefully realistic...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I met Mr. Browning several years ago at a Retro Rama in Jacksonville Fl.
I was more giddy than I would like to admit. He was my favorite monster and is my favorite autograph.

Mr. Browning was a wonderful person and actor, we are so sad to hear of his passing. We got to meet him and his daughter when they were at the Midatlantic Nostaglia Convention in Hunt Valley , MD a few years ago. It was such an honor to meet him. Cindy Ford and Joe Dangolovich

Thank you Ricou for your freindship with my Mom, Linda McGowan.
I know she loved you as so many did for your talent, vision, humanity and charm.
You were incredibly generous and gracious with me, when I made a little amateur film to remember my mother in the late 1990s.
You are in our hearts forever.
Our sincere sympathies to your family.

I’ll never forget Rico, I was an extra for the movie, Hot Stuff with Dom Deluise, and Rico was one of the directors. He later called me at my home and asked if I would like to be one of the stunt men. He choreographed a special scene for me, I’ll never forget. That phone call helped propel me into the tv business as a news and sports anchor now in its 45th year. Thank you Rico for that phone call and your incredible patience with me. Alan Williams.

He played a memorable character, but he was more than an actor, he wore many hats, director, stuntman, screenwriter and he was great at all of them. Sincerest sympathies to the Browning family. May God be with you as you go through your time of loss.

My deepesy Sympathies to you and your family.
