HARRELL, O. Riddick, 67, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2011. Born on February 14, 1944 in Suffolk, Va., he had lived in Richmond, Va. since 1968 and spent time in Nags Head, N.C. since 1984. Mr. Harrell was a Review Appraiser for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He was a member of St. Andrews By the Sea Episcopal Church in Nags Head, N.C. and St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Richmond, Va. His parents Osroe Riddick Harrell, Sr. and Elsie Mae Bryant Harrell, preceded him in death. His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Jane "Missy" Holland Harrell, Richmond, Va.; children, Sterling Harrell, Longwood, Fla. and Katherine Virden, Orlando, Fla.; and grandchildren, Adeline Avery, Steven, and Lyla. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews By the Sea Episcopal Church, with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrews By the Sea Episcopal Church 4212 S. Virginia Dare Trail Nags Head, N.C. 27959. Twiford Funeral Homes' Colony Chapel, Manteo, N.C. is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.twifordfh.com.

Riddick was a good friend. I have many fond memories of our visits at the Brotherhood of St. Andrew at St Andrews by the Sea.
