Not sure what to say?

I am proud to have known Riley! I had seen Riley over the years, mainly at the Crim. One day, he emailed me to tell me I was about to run my 30th Crim. We were friends from then on. He was a man of many talents: singing, string instruments, mathematics, running, kayaking, and loving his friends. Our condolences to the family and friends! John Wehrly

I knew of Riley through joggling events where he drubbled, but unfortunately I didn't know him well and I clearly missed an opportunity to get to know an incredible person. I have enjoyed getting to know more about Riley and his unique interests and life experiences through reading his book. My deepest condolences to his friends and family for their sudden loss.

Mr. McLincha lived down the road from my folks. I knew he was an avid (and good!) runner. I ran, but without the same finesse he always possessed. I ran the Crim, only once, when I was in high school, and he would rib me about how it just wasn´t right to run it only once. I pray for comfort during these next weeks and months for Mrs. McLincha and the family. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I remember seeing Riley at many road races over the years running and dribbling. One day I found out he went to Millington Schools and so did I. So I connected with him and after that we spoke at many races. He was always good for a great story and many laughs. So sad to hear of this, but only hope I leave this earth doing what I love. Prayers for those left behind for comfort and peace.

I am sorry for the loss and hope the family will heal fast, anytime one passes on to heaven, we don't understand how ones time on earth is so short. But Riley sounded lie he was a incredible person, I didn't know him but had a family stop in to the campgrounds where he started his horseshoe to horseshoe journey of Runyaking and wanted to post a picture of where it began. There 1st is Horseshoe campgrounds lake, The 2nd and 3rd is a beaver damn that leads to the creek that runs as the Clinton...

Didn´t even know his name but he touched our lives with his positive attitude and encouragement he offered. My husband and I encountered him in many races, including Crim. He brought joy. Deepest condolences for his family. Truly a remarkable person and the world was a better place with Riley in it.
