I met Riley in 9th grade at Spaulding Jr High in Forestville MD. We both had Dads in the USAF at Andrews AFB. Riley was even then... tall, blond, handsome, a great swimmer, and outgoing. I was the shy skinny new kid, but he brought me into his fold. We both loved airplanes... and guess what, we met again in 1970 when we were both freshman at the Air Force Academy.
