Rinehart S. Potts

Mr. Potts' eulogy should include praise for his Socratic method of teaching and his tireless search for answers that always spawned more questions. I learned that many conventional assumptions are false and that there is no such thing as a free lunch.

I will never forget Mr. Potts for his kindness and encouragement while I was attending graduate school. I often think about the many hours that I spent in his classes. Sometimes when I marvel at how much our profession has changed during the past twenty-one years, I wonder what he thought of the new developments. I will always remember him fondly.

My sympathy to Rinehart's family. I worked with him at Glassboro College and in many other organizations such as the Gloucester County Library. He was a dedicated worker in every position he held and will be long remembered. Sincerely, Catherine Nipe
