Rionel Tezeno, affectionately known as "Ronnie" was born on Thursday, January 5, 1956 in Ville Platte, Louisiana to the late Lionel and Mary Jane Tezeno. In December of 1967 the entire Tezeno family move to Winnie, Texas. In 1970 at the age of 14, Ronnie started working for the Douget Family. In 1985, he went to be a ranch hand for the Finch family where he was a dedicated employee for 25 years. After a near death encounter Ronnie started his Christian journey. He became a faithful and dedicated member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where he was baptized in 2008. He was a member of the choir and participated in all church functions.
On Tuesday, January 20, 2015 Ronnie passed away at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Stelly.
Ronnie leaves wonderful cherished memories to a special young lady, whom he raised as a daughter, Damonica Bias; brothers, Clarence (Peggy), and Jimmy (Matilda) Tezeno of Winnie, and Darrell Tezeno of Houston, Texas; sisters, Shirley Walker, Jeanella Bushnell (Michael) and Gloria Young of Beaumont; a loving host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, host of friends and his best friend Gypsy (his dog).
