Not sure what to say?

Wow...8 years, and I've missed you every one of these! When I moved back to Freeport in 2020, I was thinking of the fun we could have had once again. Now I'm back in Havana, by Ryan, since my husband passed in May 2023. So many fun memories in my We had some great times together. I miss your laugh! Til we meet again Love you always. Mary Pat (Downing) Bares

I cannot believe it's been 5 years. So many memories with Rita, from the time we worked at the phone company together and became friends until her untimely death. It breaks my heart that we have just moved back to Freeport from Havana, IL a few months ago. I could have spent so much more time with my friend! When I unpacked my pictures, I put the picture of her in her wedding dress on my dresser. We loved the same music (Motown), shared the same sense of humor. I will never forget her...

I remember Rita from her early days at the phone company, when she hung out with my big sister, Marp. she was kind and patient with her friends annoying little sister. But mostly I remember that she was funny, and she smiled a lot. so sorry to hear about her passing.

Sorry for your loss. Rita was fun to work with at the phone company and it was nice to catch up with her again these later years while I was working at Cubs. She always had a sense of humor. Her love for animals was great too. Dennis & family my prayers & thoughts will be with you today & always, as Rita will be in your hearts always! God Bless You All!

Dennis, we are saddened at the news of Rita passing. You have are most sincere condolences. Wayne and Sheri Smith

Den, Stacey, Marty, and family my deepest sympathy for your loss!! Thinking of you all and sending prayers for comfort. Rita always remember you as a kind lady with a smile and laughter. RIP

Den, and family, I am soo sorry about Rita, I still am crying off and on. She was a great friend and I will miss her greatly, us calling each other old bag or hussie all the time. I'll never forget her trick of pulling her bra out of her sleeve, then tossing it on a ceiling fan, of course that was back in our drinking days.lol I sure am glad I got to go up with you Den to see her and got to tell her I loved her, especially since it was my last chance to tell her My prayers are with you...

Stacey so sorry to hear of your mother's passing my thoughts and prayers with you and your family
