Rita Appell

I had the distinct honor of being a volunteer at the Mary McCarthy House while Rita was a resident there. To say she touched me is a extreme understatement. What a wonderful woman so full of humor and class. I will forever be touched by her graciousness. I believe Rita possessed that special quality of leaving things and people better than she found them and my deepest sympathy is extended to her family at this time.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and grandmother, Rita. From Michelle and Lesley, we always knew how warm, loving, gracious and special she was.
