I was sad to read of Rita’s death. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. I worked with Rita in my first job out of college at the old ShopKo Corporate office on Ashland. I remember that she was very kind to me and I still love the blue & white ceramic pieces she made for me more than 30 years ago! Rita always spoke highly of her family, you all were the light of her life. May the peace that comes from love and memories comfort you now and in the days ahead.

I have taken care of Rita for the last 4 months. We always had fun getting her dressed, talking about her family and dog Ayla. She was the sweetest lady. I was the one who was holding her hand when she passed. She was at peace when she passed. Now she isn't in any pain. We all loved her dearly. My prayers go out to your whole family at this time of sorrow.Karrie Laabs CNA

Bob & Sandi & Family:

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I have fond memories of Rita at Shopko. Also, Sandi don't know if you would remember but we resided across the street from your parents/grandparents on Platten Street years ago and great memories of all of them also. Frank also was in the Army Reserves. with Bob! Praying all is well with you both and family!

Love,
