Jay, I found out at the Friday night meeting. I always went up and talked to her when I saw her there. She was always happy to se me and talk to me. And I always enjoyed our conversations. She will be missed. She was a sweet, kind lady. She will be missed.

My sincere sympathy to the family.
I am Jeannette Binder's cousin and because of hearing her speak so fondly of Ms Rita, over the years, I feel like I know her more than I actually do.
Though I do know she was a special part of the "Binder Bakery" family. The bakery itself is important to the German heritage and history that built New Orleans.
I miss Jeannette and Joe, and pray they have welcomed her home!
May she Rest In Peace
