Aunt Rita was kindness, positivity, and love personified. My siblings and I were lucky to spend so much time with her over the years, and I will always fondly remember trips "Up North," family reunions, and especially the "scanning parties" she and her nephew Derrick would have as they went through old family photos together. Rita Borders was the epitome of positivity, patience and kindness. Rita was also a faithful Christian who volunteered her time and talent to help others.
