I was a pathologist at Saint Mary's at the time Rita was lab manager. What a talented and giving person she was! She will truly be missed. She certainly was a force for good in everything she touched. My condolences to her family and friends.

I was a lab assistant at St.Mary´s Hospital when Rita was the head of Microbiology. She made sure that every test done was done properly and without error. It was an honor to work with her. I learned later that my home on Third St.NW was around the corner from her mom´s house on Fremont! Small world.
