Not sure what to say?

The years have passed, but I still see you telling me to rewrite that section...You made me a better person...40 years ago.You made a lasting mark on the world...My friend and teacher

Dr. Dunn was my mentor amd confidant. She challenged me to be the best and to pursue my doctorate in Instructional Leadership through St. JOHNS. Her legacy will live on as we meet the needs of all children through their learning styles. Regards Dr. Dena BERMUDA

Your legacy is so much alive in the work I do as an educator.

Always in our hearts. Never forgotten. An amazing leader in education.

Rita Dunn was my professor at SJU 20 years ago. She provided me with direction, suggestions, and helped me focus and refine my ideas to develop into clear thoughts on academia and education. She was an inspiration and provided a learning experience I will always remember.

I just found out about your mothers passing! She was my BEST teacher... class 2-1 at PS 66 in the Bronx. I wish her and your family peace and love

I just learned of the passing of Dr. Dunn. She was my professor at St. John’s for many years until I graduated in 1979. She was an outstanding person and loved work and her students. She would frequently invite me along with many of her other students to her home for a barbecue and was always available to support her students. There will never be another Dr. Rita Dunn. She will be missed by all.
Robert Di Dio, MS.Ed. Class of 1976 and 1979

In loving memory of a special, dedicated, beautiful person-Dr. Rita Dunn. Who continues to inspire all of us who had the honor of knowing her in education and beyond. Her enthusiasm and passion for her work and the care and love and mentorship she gave to each one of her students and all the young people she met is unmatched at St. John's University. There will never be another one like her. RIP Dr. Dunn -we miss you.
