Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to hear of Rita's passing. I know she and her mother, father, and Mama Lupo are sharing many hugs and stories now, but I also know family and friends still here on this earth will miss her greatly. My prayers and love to all of you.

Well, I am a nephew of Rita´s. I am serving in the Spain Bilbao mission. I just have to say that the news of Rita´s death was very impacting to me. She was always a light in my life and it was incredible to see how she iluminated the lives of all who knew her. She will be missed.

To the Elkins and Lisonbee families,
I am so sorry to hear of Rita's passing. I have known Rita for 48 years, and her compassion, courage, and love have touched my life in so many ways. She approached challenges with an attitude of hopefulness and shared her experiences in ways that helped others grow. Rita was receptive to the contributions others were able to make, valuing people in a way that helped them be the best they could be. I think we really have no idea the many lives she...

I only knew Rita as a young girl with a vibrant personality and delightful family. My sister Etta has kept in touch through the years, and our entire family is saddened by her passing. She has certainly led a fruitful and rewarding life! My prayers are with you as you struggle with your loss.

Scott, Tanya, Taryn and Bianka,
We pray the blessings of Heaven will rest upon you and your family at this time. What a wonderful person Rita was.
We love you and if you need us we will be here for you! Remember, the Lord will watch over and keep you till you are reunited with your mother and wife!

Scott, Tanya and Taryn...I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I know how hard these times can be.

Scott, I will always be grateful for your guidance as my scout leader and friend. I have a lot of examples of how to raise my children and live my life because of you and your family.

Memories to last a lifetime and beyond...

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Michael

Dear Scott, Tanya, Taryn and Bianca and families:

Rita has been one of the dearest, most gracious ladies I have ever had the priviledge of knowing. She was so talented and such an eloquent speaker. She is truly a "one of a kind" person.
Knowing her for the past 25 years has been such a blessing to me. Not to mention that she was a great cook, and her "Mufaletta Sandwich's" were a delight to the pallet.
Oh, how I will miss my beautiful Italian friend.
...

Tanya and Family,
My mom called me today and told me of your mom's passing. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. Your mom was great - I still remember the Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy costumes. Your mom was creative and just a great person all around. I wish your family all the best - I miss you and "the old neighborhood".

Scott, Bianca, and family.
We are so saddened to hear of Rita's passing. I had not seen her in years, but remember vividly her gentle grace and beauty. She touched many, and I am fortunate to have been one of them. Our love to you all, and may the love and gentle peace of our Savior comfort you.
Love, Jan and sons
